Northern Coast Salish slat coil basket with lid.  Cylindrical shape.  Lid fits over recessed top coil.  Base of basket is 8 slats wide; walls 5 slats high; lid 11 slats wide.  Decorated with 4 pink and white diamond motifs.  Lid is fastened to the basket with white string.

Date of manufacture: ca. 1913

Techniques: slat coil, imbrication, false braiding (around lid rim)

Materials: split cedar wood slats, cedar root, corn husk
