Description:

One Northern Coast Salish round slat coil basket with imbrications of black dyed cherry bark and blue and orange dyed, and plain, corn husk. Two handles and rim of bundle coil with orange and black beading. Bottom rim with blue beading. Bottom of basket close coiling.

 

Materials: Corn husk, cherry bark, cedar bark, cedar root

 

Techniques: Slat coil, bundle coil, close coiling, beading, braiding, imbrication

 

Overall Dimensions: Height - 26.5 cm; Diameter - 32 cm
