MCR 991.13.1

One Northern Coast Salish style rectangular basket.  Slat coil construction, beaded decoration.  Four rows of beading (split cherry bark and corn husk) surround basket.  Appears to have had two small handles on each side.  An additional row of coil on one end.  

Materials: cedar, cherry bark, corn husk

Techniques: slat coil, beading 

Overall dimensions:  29.5 cm long x 7.5 cm wide x 5.0 cm high
