One rectangular Northern Coast Salish style basket with fitted lid. Slat coil construction, imbricated design. Top slat is indented to fit inside lid. Zig-zag design with a series of diamonds in the centre on front long side of basket and continues onto the bottom. Four rows of imbrications on each slat in colours of dark red, black, orange and gree. (Orange and green may have been dyed grass). Three wire loops along the back side of the basket are believed to be hinges for the lid.

Techniques: slat coil, base is 7 strips wide, walls 3 strips high.  Top slat of wall is indented to fit inside lid.

Materials: cedar root, cedar bark, cherry bark
